New data discovery and visualizations with Prophix 11 SP3

Today I have exciting news to share, Prophix 11 SP3 is now generally available. This release, the third update this year, marks the continuing evolution of Prophix 11, bringing new innovations including brand new visualizations and data discovery capabilities to Template Studio.

Again, we listened carefully to the feedback from our strong global user and partner community, many of which participated in the design and testing of Template Studio.  I would like to thank everyone who participated and provided feedback during this process—we couldn’t have done it without you. I encourage all Prophix users to continue sharing your thoughts with the product team at feedback.prophix.com.

Visualize your data, publish, and collaborate

For those who like to create and publish highly visual dashboards when communicating to stakeholders to facilitate rapid data discovery of trends and exceptions, you’ll love the new visualization capabilities of Template Studio.  Highly visual reports and dashboards can be quickly created from all data residing on a template.  Since Templates can contain data from multiple models, and now any cell range within the Template, it’s easy to build comprehensive visuals covering a range of key performance indicators including profitability, cash flow, utilization, headcount, and many more.

Once created, automatically publish your visual dashboard at specific times and dates to key stakeholders inside and outside your organization ensuring a continuous flow of analytical information. Never miss a deadline again, or spend long hours assembling reports manually.

To foster collaborative reviewing of results, enroll your visual masterpieces into Workflow to solicit comments directly within Prophix.

Using Prophix Mobile, another key addition in Prophix 11, your community of users can view dashboards containing the latest data right from their iPads anywhere in the world.

Favorites Manager, SQL Server 2014 support, and more

Another enhancement in Prophix 11 SP3 is the new Favorites Manager. It’s designed to make it even easier for administrators to quickly get key reports, templates, and other Prophix assets across a large user base.  You asked us to make this process even easier for large user bases, and we’ve responded quickly with Favorites Manager.
