Yes, you can use Prophix One Contributor, an Excel Add-In, to contribute to your budgets in Prophix One. It's as easy as receiving a notification provided by Prophix One Workflow, which notifies you whenever there's work for you to complete. Simply click the link to open your Excel workbook and log into Prophix One within Excel. Perform data entry the same way as you are used to in Excel. Once done, you can save and submit your work, or if you are working offline, simply save it and submit it later.

Yes, both Prophix One Contributor and Prophix One Analyzer support Excel functions so that you can perform calculations and data analysis. Simply open your Excel workbook in Prophix One Analyzer or access the workbook through the link provided for Prophix One Contributor and log into Prophix One. From there, you can use Excel functions in the cells designated for data entry. Once you have finished, you can save your work and submit it when you’re ready.

Prophix One Analyzer is ideal for Excel power users who would prefer to perform complex financial modeling, such as statistical forecasting or sales funnel forecasting using their Prophix One data.

Yes, you can save data back to Prophix One FP&A Plus with Prophix Analyzer and Prophix Contributor. However, since security access from Prophix One is carried over to Excel, permissions to write back data are based on license types and data access set within Prophix One.

Prophix One Contributor requires no additional user training. No migration effort is involved because Prophix One Contributor uses the Prophix One FP&A Plus functionality existing in the Web Client: the same workflow tasks, template files, template formatting, and data permissions.
