Prophix Live! ‘25 wrap up

It’s hard to believe the first leg of our Prophix Live! ‘25 road show has come and gone.  

We started in Phoenix, AZ on April 28. Under the sun at the beautiful Arizona Grand, customers, partners, and Phixers alike gathered for a day of interactive sessions and networking, followed by an evening of fun!  

On May 12, we hosted 100+ customers and partners at the Hilton Toronto. Much like Arizona, the day was informative and full of endless networking opportunities. We ended the day in a quintessentially Canadian way – at the Blue Jays game!

On May 22, we landed in the beautiful city of Brussels at the Van der Valk hotel. Customers and partners across the UK and Europe came together with the same great content, just a different place on the map.  

So, while we’re sad to see the first half of our tour come to an end... it doesn’t stop there. We’ll be in Paris on June 19, followed by London, England, Luxembourg, and Perth, Australia this fall. We weren’t kidding when we said we were going global!  

But now let’s take a look back at what happened.  

The future of autonomous finance 

Our President and CEO, Alok Ajmera, brought the energy to the main stage and set the tone for the day with a keynote on the future of AI and what it means for finance teams.  

The truth is that finance teams that aren’t using AI are going to fall behind. While generative AI is becoming more common place with tools like ChatGPT or Gemini, it’s agentic AI that is going to carve out a new world of opportunities for finance teams.

Alok gave practical examples of what an autonomous future could look like, including month-end close, forecasting, audit and risk, and even people and productivity.  

He polled the audience to see how finance leaders truly feel about AI. And while the majority are excited about what’s to come, there’s an underlying fear of the unknown too. He made it clear that the biggest threat isn’t AI taking your job – it's someone using AI to do your job better.  

Alok ended with a few actionable takeaways:

• Build a test-and-learn AI culture inside your finance team.  
• Pair high-potential leaders with AI tools now – create AI champions.
• Make your data strategy your innovation platform.  

A look at Prophix One Intelligence: The key to smarter, faster finance processes 

Our Chief Technology Officer, Anurag Yagnik, followed up Alok’s keynote with a deeper dive into the Prophix One platform. 

Anurag gave attendees a behind-the-scenes look at Prophix One Intelligence, the AI engine that is embedded within the platform and powers the complete suite of solutions.

We heard from our customers 

In Arizona, Bona Allen, SVP and CFO at Kajima Building and Design, and Jodi Schultz, AVP Finance at Sammons Financial Group as they took the stage to share a bit of insight into their journey with Prophix.  

Bona Allen shared some of the key results they’ve seen using Prophix One, including a 4.5x increase in construction projects and revenue volume (with no increased headcount!) due to improved cost management and forecast accuracy. They also fully automated their financial statement production, WIP production, and G&A forecasts.  

Jodi Schultz talked about Sammon’s transformation journey, starting in 2018 to where they are today. Jodi noted that the key success factors included speed and flexibility, customization, and expert Prophix consultants.  

In Toronto, we heard from Mark Minicucci, Corporate Director of Finance at Armstrong Fluid Technologies. Mark shared how Armstrong has modernized their finance processes while also driving strategic growth. The one thing we love to hear from our customers is how they see Prophix as more than just software – but as a trusted partner in transforming the way finance teams work.  

Then Peggy Maranan, CFO at DEMCO, a not-for-profit electric cooperative, took the stage. Peggy shared how Prophix gives them confidence in their data. She even shared that the first audit they did in Prophix had zero audit adjustments! A true testament to how Prophix continues to drive business value across the organization.  

In Brussels, Stephen Hayward, CFO at Blue Style A.S. also talked about their journey with Prophix. Going from on premise to the cloud, to the Prophix One platform in 2025 has been a true journey. Now they can bring all their processes into one place for centralized FP&A.  

Gerwin Westerhof, Group Financial Controller at team.blue has been on a finance transformation journey. From a fragmented process to team-wide alignment, they are building the future of core finance. Their future state includes streamlined, standardized workflows, centralized controls and easy audits, and harmonized global processes. We can’t wait to see where the future takes team.blue!

After a delicious lunch break, attendees sat in on the breakout sessions that provided focused insights and takeaways to help them meet their strategic goals.
