Join our Research Engineering team where you’ll bring your expertise in AR/VR solutions to explore new and innovative ways of visualizing and interacting with financial data. Corporate financial data models are multi-dimensional current methodologies limit the exploration and visualization of these vast data sets to an inherently 2D space. Our research team is exploring how to apply the technologies of AR/VR to develop alternative visualizations to see if there are better, more intuitive methods that would arm users to get the most from their budgeting and planning data.

Reporting to the VP of Research & Development, you’ll play a critical role in defining the architecture, technologies and technical implementations of AR/VR UI driven interactions.


  • Working with Architects, Product Managers, and other Research Engineers to prototype new and innovative visualization techniques.
  • Develop AR/VR solutions and PoC’s using the state-of-the-art hardware from most of the key hardware vendors.
  • Integrate Prophix’s as a data source to these solutions.
  • Publish and report findings to the key stakeholders.
  • Explore and research new methods pertaining to future product development.

What you will bring to Prophix:

  • 5+ years developing AR/VR solutions using a variety of hardware
  • 3+ years working with data-intensive applications and data visualization
  • Familiarity with a variety of current hardware including Magic Leap, HoloLens, HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, Samsung Gear VR, etc
