President's Message
In early October, we held our Annual Partners Conference in Vancouver for our resellers and distributors worldwide. We presented our plans going forward and received some very positive feedback from our partners, which is very important to us because PROPHIX derives an important part of its business through indirect channels, both Internationally and in North America. During 2008, we signed up important new channel partners in Germany, Russia, the Middle East and Scandinavia.
The company continues to grow and 2008 looks like one of the best years for growth in the company's history. By year end, we will have over 1,400 customers-150 of which will be using the SQL Server version of PROPHIX. We have just released version 4.2 of PROPHIX for SQL Server and the product has so far been extremely well received in the marketplace by both customers and channel partners.
Over the past few months, Development has continued to work on PROPHIX Enterprise enhancements. Version 7.1 is scheduled to be released in December. More information on the new version is available later in this newsletter.
Finally, I would like to thank those members of our Customer Advisory Board who travelled to Toronto in September. The meeting gave us extremely valuable feedback and helped us better understand what we can do going forward to meet the needs of our customers.
