Workshop 1- Resource Planning

Whether it's Human Resources or other assets in your organization, the ability to optimize resource use can give your organization a competitive advantage. Workshop 2 - Managing Your PROPHIX Project

Whether you are implementing PROPHIX for the first time, migrating from Enterprise to PROPHIX for SQL Server, or merely expanding the scope of your project, you need to understand the Key Success Factors involved in successfully implementing technological change. PROPHIX clients share their experiences and give key insights into the optimal management of your PROPHIX project.

Workshop 3 - Revenue Planning

Accurate sales data drives all other business activities, e.g. resource planning, staff planning, business feasibility, etc. Yet, often this process is limited to the sales department and doesn't facilitate input from outside the department. PROPHIX facilitates collaboration between all business functions, as well as allowing for multiple scenarios and integration with further planning activities including marketing, manufacturing and services. Learn how to use PROPHIX to create sophisticated sales forecasts and distribute the data in various effective formats and to all relevant stakeholders.

Workshop 4/11 - PROPHIX for SQL Server Implementation

This workshop will chart the progress of one company's implementation of PROPHIX for SQL Server.

Workshop 5 - Consolidation

Throughout the budgeting, forecasting and/or reporting process, information needs to be consolidated to be meaningful and significant for business purposes. Traditional consolidation processes involve gathering data from multiple resources and merging it into one source (e.g. combining multiple Excel spreadsheets, general ledgers or ERP systems), and tend to lack control, flexibility, and efficiency. The PROPHIX consolidation tools bring the integrity back into your data with "one-click-of-the-button" consolidation.

Workshop 6 - Not for Profit/ Government

Most industries have their own unique requirements for budgeting, forecasting and reporting; Government and Not for Profit organizations are no exception. PROPHIX software has the tools to meet these unique needs, with its ability to quickly integrate data from multiple data sources, consolidate the data in multiple formats, and quickly create formatted reports that satisfy exacting Government reporting requirements.

Workshop 7 - Managing Year End Close

Closing the books can be a difficult and time-consuming task for many organizations. Often taking months to complete, existing processes leave very little time for analysis, and do not lend themselves to other functions such as planning or forecasting. In addition, closing processes are-more often than not-undocumented, which requires reworking each year and may be open to question during the auditing process. PROPHIX can expedite the year end close with speedy data imports (via ODBC), documentable processes, and flexible reporting capabilities.

Workshop 8 - Cash Flow Management

The Cash Flow statement is arguably the most important of the financial statements as it predicts an organization's ability to generate enough cash to pay both debts to creditors and dividends to investors. The ability to integrate the Cash Flow statement with other financial statements, all within PROPHIX, will allow you to analyze and understand the impact of revenue and expense changes on your overall financial situation.

Workshop 9 - Demystifying Performance Management

PROPHIX allows you to turn both valuable financial and non-financial data into shared information for insightful, timely decisions. Rather than waiting for a problem to emerge and escalate, managers can quickly and accurately spot trends and/or exceptions, gain insight into the sales pipeline and revenue generation capabilities, understand which expenses impact cost structure, and quickly determine the key drivers. Using the suite of PROPHIX performance management tools, you can easily visualize and chart the performance of your business and make vital, fact-based decisions in a timely manner.

New Workshop Profitability Analysis

This workshop will highlight some of those tools and show you how you can achieve that competitive edge for your company.

These three-hour training sessions will give you the chance to advance your PROPHIX knowledge in small groups, with hands-on instruction delivered by a Senior PROPHIX Consultant.

Prerequisite: Basic knowledge of PROPHIX Enterprise administration

Training Session 1 - Process Manager Mastery

Process Manager is one of the most powerful tools in the PROPHIX toolkit, yet also one of the least understood and used. This session will demonstrate how the individual processes can be leveraged to quickly and easily solve real business issues.

Training Session 2 - Dashboards & Scorecards

Using the suite of PROPHIX performance management tools, you can easily chart the performance of your business, and get that information into the hands of your key decision makers in a timely manner. This session will teach users how to create various scorecards, dashboards, set up drillthrough analysis, and use report library to collate and distribute reports.

Training Session 3 - PROPHIX for SQL Server Introduction

PROPHIX for SQL Server (P4SS) is our latest offering on Microsoft's OLAP platform. This session will give users a hands-on feel for the advantages and functionality of P4SS. You will have the opportunity to build simple cubes, perform Ad Hoc Analysis, use the Template Designer, and experience the power of the new Workflow.

All three-hour training sessions have limited enrollment, so sign up early. There is an additional charge for each training session taken.

Training Session 4 - PROPHIX Personnel Planning (P3) Administration

Employee-related costs continue to make up a large percentage of costs in most companies, yet are difficult to manage and plan for. This training session will teach users how to create a staff plan, import and maintain employee lists, create complex calculations, and link the staff plan to PROPHIX versions.
