A Prophix Business Analyst is a dynamic individual who has an excellent technical background and is looking to transition into a fast paced, customer oriented, consulting role. The position will report to an Implementation Manager within the Professional Services group and will work extensively with our clients, predominantly in the office of finance.

The successful candidate will have strong inter-personal skills, be mature and confident when dealing with high level customer executives. We are looking for an individual who will proactively seek solutions for our clients’ challenges. The position requires an individual who is comfortable and confident when working on-site or remotely with our customers. The ideal candidate has a strong finance or technical background and is looking for a business-related experience.

Business Analysts receive tremendous experience in: project management, customer management and the consulting processes. Prophix supports Business Analysts in gaining an accounting qualification such as ACCA or CIMA as well as a competitive salary, bonus, pension and a structured career path.

This position is located at Prophix UK Ltd.’s offices in Reading, Berkshire.


  • A Business Analyst is part of a team that is involved in the implementation of Prophix’s Performance Management software with our clients.
  • Working with clients to understand their requirements and set up the software to meet their needs, the Business Analyst would execute the project deliverables as per the project manager’s direction.
  • This would include working onsite or remotely with the client to build out their Prophix solution.

What You Will Bring to Prophix

Your Experience:
  • An Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business degree - 2.2 minimum, or part-qualified CIMA, ACCA, ACA.
  • Accounting experience is a definite asset.
  • Must be willing to travel around the UK.

Your Technology Skills:
  • Must possess a working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and be familiar with the financial statement preparation process.
  • Comprehension of financial concepts/terminology is required.
Your Qualities:
  • Superior communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong organisational ability is required as the candidate will be required to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Must be comfortable working in a project environment interacting with senior level executives.
