Derek Price, Chairman

Derek PriceDerek Price is Chairman of PROPHIX Software. He is a graduate of Cambridge University and has had a long and distinguished career in the Information Technology industry. Derek was one of the pioneers of the computer timesharing industry and was President of Comshare Limited for 21 years. He successfully built Comshare from a start-up venture to a leading Business Intelligence software and services company.


Paul Barber, President

Paul BarberPaul Barber is President of PROPHIX Software. He is a graduate of Cambridge University, with an MA in Mathematics, and holds an MBA from the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario. Paul has worked in the software industry for over thirty years in such areas as Decision Support Systems, Executive Information Systems, Business Intelligence and Performance Management. His functional experience includes sales, marketing, professional services, and general management. In recent years, Paul was the leader in PROPHIX Software's metamorphosis from being a software distributor to a developer of world class Performance Management solutions.


Bob Walker, Vice President, Development

Bob WalkerBob Walker, Vice President of Development, obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration and MBA degrees from York University. Bob has gained in-depth experience in the design and implementation of large scale Decision Support Systems and Executive Information Systems. He is an acknowledged expert in the design and development of planning applications utilizing OLAP technology.


Geoffrey Ng, Vice President, Product Planning

Geoffrey NgAs Vice-President, Product Planning, Geoffrey is responsible for managing the long-term product and technology strategy for PROPHIX products. Geoffrey began his tenure at PROPHIX as a management consultant implementing financial analytics systems at over 70 organizations throughout North America including: Mazda, Bridgestone/Firestone, L'Occitane, Nelson Education, Toyota Tsusho and Pfizer. He most recently served as PROPHIX's Vice-President, Professional Services, where he was deeply involved in the development of implementation best practices on the Microsoft SQL Server and Analysis Services platforms.  Geoffrey holds an Honors Bachelor of Business Administration degree from York University’s Schulich School of Business, with a concentration in management information systems and finance.


Verne Meredith, Vice President, Operations

Verne MeredithAs VP of Operations, Verne Meredith brings more than 25 years of sales and marketing experience in the IT industry. He holds an MBA degree from Dalhousie University. Some of his career highlights include ten years at Xerox Canada, where he initiated the major account marketing and sales division, and five years at Oracle Corporation as VP of Sales and Marketing Operations. Verne also has ten years of consulting experience, specializing in the development and execution of high-growth strategies for emerging Canadian technology companies.


Bally Boodram, Vice President, Marketing

Bally BoodramAs Vice President of Marketing, Bally is tasked with communicating the company message to the marketplace. Prior to joining PROPHIX Software, Bally held the position of Software Product Manager for companies such as Thermo Electron Corporation, and JD Edwards/Peoplesoft. Bally also served with IBM Canada's Market Planning department. After graduating from the University of Toronto with a Mechanical Engineering degree, Bally worked extensively with Mettler Toledo's customers in North America as a Software Product Specialist.


Russell Durrant, Vice President, Sales

Russell DurrantAs Vice President of Sales, Russell oversees the company's sales strategy and execution in the Corporate Performance Management marketplace. Schooled in the Miller Heiman sales performance process with numerous Microsoft Solution Selling certifications, he has over ten years experience in software including roles in development, project management, business analysis and sales. Prior to joining PROPHIX, Russell was a Vice President with Axentia Solutions Corp.. He holds a Bachelor of Arts & Science and a Masters of Business Administration from McMaster University.


Alok Ajmera, Vice President, Professional Services

Alok AjmeraAs Vice President of Professional Services, Alok Ajmera manages consulting and educational services delivery to North American clients and global partners. Prior to taking the helm of Professional Services, Alok has been with PROPHIX with varying responsibilities: as a consultant with the Professional Services team, as a Regional Sales Manager and most recently as Director of the Customer Management Center. Alok holds a Bachelors degree in Engineering and Management Studies from McMaster University.


Eric X. V. Nguyen, Director, Educational Services

Eric X. V. NguyenAs Director of Educational Services, Eric X. V. Nguyen is responsible for all external and internal product training content, materials and delivery. Eric has over 5 years of implementation history and 3 years with education content development and delivery. Eric is a Certified Management Accountant and holds a business degree from the Schulich School of Business.


Cheryl Power, Director, Channel Partners

Cheryl PowerCheryl Power, Director of Channel Partners, is primarily responsible for creating and maintaining channel relationships. She has over 18 years of experience in the high technology industry; prior to joining PROPHIX, Cheryl spent years at Oracle Corporation, SAP, Borderware and Teneros, excelling in the management of sales and channels teams. Cheryl brings with her, not only an energetic drive, but also a solid acumen for channel strategy and program development and implementation.
